Montessori Education at Harvard Business review, Atahan Mayor experience
"According to a Wall Street Journal article by Peter Sims, there's a Montessori Mafia among the creative elite" by A. MCAFEE, Harvard Business Review
Montessori educated business leaders are known to be self-directed, creative, problem-solvers and critical/out of the box thinkers due to their early childhood education designed to boost their individual strengths, contrary to the classic education that attempts to “standardize” children.
My son Atahan Mayor has been attending Montessori school for the last 3 years. As parents, we have seen dramatic increase in his creative thinking, individual problem solving, decision making and leadership skills throughout his 3rd. 4th. and 5th. ages.
Montessori system has not only improved his creative, learning and social skills, but helped to develop an independent character and confidence.
Atahan is completing his 3 years of Montessori education in June 2013. We are thankful to Mrs. Domico, Mrs. Toner, Mrs. Zahiri, Mrs. Nelson for Atahan's academic & social advancements, as well as leadership & decision making skills, to Sra. Ingrid for Spanish language skills at Manor Montessori, Potomac MD (Trinity Campus).
